Illinois Law Enforcement Phlebotomy Program (ILEPP)
This is the second step for the Illinois Law Enforcement Phlebotomy Program (ILEPP). Once the College application is processed, you will be registered for two courses, PHLEB 110 Basic Phlebotomy and PHLEB 116 Forensic Phlebotomy Clinical. A Course and Fee Statement will be sent to the email address provided on the application along with immunization and Health and Safety deadlines and information regarding completing the learning management system (Canvas) orientation.
This is a fast-track hybrid program that includes two courses. One consists of four weeks of online instruction and a three-day on-campus lab. The second course includes seven days of clinical experiences in healthcare facilities in Decatur. Visit https://www.richland.edu/ilepp/ for more details.
